Abroad?

A major decision I am making right now is deciding where I want to study abroad. It is a great chance for me to explore a different culture and meet new people. With my major being Art History, and my focus being on Modern Art I feel like I should spend a semester in London or Paris and a semester in New York as well. Being away from Texas and most of my friends for a whole year will be difficult, but I know it will be worth it.

Right now, one of my close friends, Alex, is studying abroad for a whole year in Milan, Italy. She loves it there so far and says that deciding to stay a whole year was the best decision. When else would I ever be able to live in another country (or another city and state) and have my schooling and life paid for. Although I would love to live somewhere different after graduation, like New York, DC, or London, I know that I won't be financially supported, and will be out in the "real world". I feel like staying abroad for a whole year would be the perfect amount of time for me to get what I want out of my abroad experience, one semester would not be enough for me.

All of the information meetings are starting to kick in right now. It is definitely time for me to make my decisions and decide what is best for me and my GPA. Making these decisions is definitely difficult and I need to take my time on them.
